Chetan Hair And Care is over at Sath Sangath Complex, right at the Shivranjini Cross Road in Ahmedabad. If you know where the HP petrol pump is, we are basically right next to it. It’s a busy spot, especially with Pintoo Garments being across the way. We’ve been here quite a while now. The shop is pretty simple, nothing too fancy to look at. Just a couple of chairs, mirrors, and our tools on the counter. It gets loud outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the job. People come in mostly for a quick trim or a shave when they have time. We see a lot of the same neighbors every few weeks. It’s not a big corporate place, just us working every day. Sometimes the floor gets covered in hair when it's busy and we don't have a second to sweep, but we get to it eventually. The morning starts with opening the shutters and getting the towels ready. It’s a small space, but it works for what we do. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area, just a few stools if you need to sit for a minute. It’s just a normal part of the street here in Shivranjani. Most folks find us just by walking past on their way to the pump. The tea stall nearby is where we get our breaks. That's about it, really, just a local barber shop for everyone.
