Champion Salon Center

Champion Salon Center is situated on Dudheshwar Road, right across from the Gurudwara BRTS stop. If you know the Ravi Estate area, we are just near there. It’s a good spot because people can see us while they wait for the bus. The shop itself is simple. We’ve got the standard chairs and the blue liquid for the combs. It smells like talcum powder and aftershave most of the time. We open up the shutters early in the morning. Dudheshwar Road can get pretty crowded with vehicles, but it’s a lively place to be. We get a mix of people—workers from the nearby estates, commuters, and locals who live in the back streets. Some people have been coming to us for years, and they don't even have to say what they want anymore. We just know. It’s not a place for anything too high-end. We just handle the basics. When the BRTS bus pulls up, we usually see a few heads turn our way. We’ve had some good times in this shop, laughing with customers and hearing their stories. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but nobody seems to mind. It’s just a neighborhood salon where you can sit down, get a cut, and move on with your day. We like the rhythm of it. Even when the dust from the road blows in, we just brush it off and keep going. It's been our way for a long time and we like the people around here. We stay until evening.
