Down at Plot Number 2 in Phase II of Vatva, things are usually pretty loud and active. Vatva is a heavy industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machinery or trucks passing by on the main road. Our plot isn't the biggest one on the block, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. The workshop floor is where most of the action happens. We spend a lot of time looking at metal parts and assembly lines. It gets really dusty in the summer, and we often have the big fans blowing just to keep the air moving. Most of the guys here wear overalls and have grease on their hands by lunch. We have a small corner that we call the office, where the computer sits and where we keep all the technical drawings. It’s not the quietest place to work, but you get used to the rhythm of the machines after a few days. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures; we just show people the machines we’ve built if they come to visit. Sometimes a customer drops by to see the progress on their order, and we just walk them through the shop floor. The gate is made of heavy iron and it screeches a bit when you open it. It’s a practical place for people who like to build things and aren't afraid of a little hard work and some noise.
