We are situated at Plot No 2 in the Phase-2 GIDC section of Vatva. If you are walking down the road, you will see our gate usually open with someone moving crates around. Our daily routine involves a lot of mechanical work, specifically for the pharmaceutical sector. We have several workstations set up where the guys assemble the different parts of the machines. There is a lot of welding, cutting, and bolting things together. Sometimes the blueprints are spread out over the workbenches for days while we figure out a tricky section of a new build. It is a hands-on kind of place. We don't spend much on fancy furniture or office supplies because the real money goes into the tools and the metal we use. The floor is concrete and often has those dark oil stains that you can't ever really get out. We have a few fans blowing to keep the air moving, but it’s still an industrial shed at the end of the day. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so there is a lot of talk about local Vatva gossip during the breaks. We don't try to act like we are bigger than we are. We just take the orders, work through the metal, and try to make sure everything is sturdy before it leaves the plot. It’s just the way things have been done here for years and we don’t see that changing anytime soon.
