Brahmani Hair Style is tucked into the Shyam Shikhar Complex in Bapu Nagar. It’s a pretty easy place to find because the Swami Narayan Temple is right there. We are part of the Arvindbag Society area, which is always full of activity. The shop is just a regular local spot where people from around here come to get their hair sorted out. We don’t have any big posters or fancy lights. It’s just us, the chairs, and the usual sound of scissors. Sometimes when the temple has a big event, the whole street gets packed, and we get a few extra people coming in. It’s mostly just a routine for us. We open up in the morning, dust the mirrors, and wait for the first customer. Ahmedabad can get really dusty, so we’re always cleaning something. The chairs have been here a while and they are comfortable enough. We talk about the weather or the local news while we work. It’s not like those big salons in the malls. It’s just a place where you can sit down, get your hair cut, and go about your day. We see kids growing up and coming in for their first cuts, which is always something to see. There is always a lot of noise from the bikes outside, but we don't mind it. It’s just a basic shop doing basic work for the people in Bapu Nagar.
