Bhagya Laxmi Provision & General Stores

Bhagya Laxmi Provision & General Stores is located at 7G Ganesh Plaza in the Ranipur area of Ahmedabad. We are right by the Sundarvan Apartment and the old railway line. That old line is a landmark for everyone around here. Our shop is where people come for their daily provisions like rice, flour, and oil. We also have the usual general items you’d expect. It’s a busy little corner of the city. The plaza has other shops too, so there is always someone walking by. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself and provide for my family. It’s not a glamorous job. I spend a lot of time checking the bags of grain and making sure nothing is spoiled. The air is often filled with the smell of spices we keep in the big jars. We don't have any professional decorators, so the shop looks like a typical local store with posters on the walls and boxes stacked in the corners. Some of our customers have been coming to us since we first opened our doors. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just stay open when we say we will and try to keep our prices fair for the neighborhood. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving heavy sacks around, but it keeps me busy. Ranipur is our home, and we are glad to be part of it. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day.
