Beauty Hair Salon

Beauty Hair Salon is located at Diwan Bungalow on Gayakwad Haveli Road. This part of Raikhad has a different feel than the newer parts of Ahmedabad. We are right opposite the volleyball ground, so in the evenings we can hear the sounds of games being played and people shouting. The shop is in an older building, which gives it a bit of character I suppose. It is not a modern glass building. Inside, things are kept simple. We have the basic tools, some spray bottles, and a couple of combs. We mostly do haircuts and shaves for the local men and boys who live around here. People come in after work or on their day off. We have a few plastic chairs for waiting. The walls are decorated with some old posters that have been there for years. It is a quiet place for the most part. We know most of the people who walk in because they are our neighbors. We don't do any of those fancy treatments you see in magazines. It is just standard hair care. The breeze comes in through the door when it is open, and we watch the traffic go by on the way to the Haveli. It is a humble business and we are fine with that. We just do our work and go home to our families at the end of the day.
