Beauty Hair Care

My shop, Beauty Hair Care, is on the first floor of Mahavir Tower. We are at Shop No 2, right across from the HP petrol pump in Paldi. It’s a very busy spot because of the Paldi Cross Road being so close. You can hear the constant noise of cars and buses from here. I have to climb the stairs every morning to open up. The shop is small but it has everything I need. I’ve got the chairs lined up and a small bench for people to sit on while they wait. The mirrors reflect the light from the street, which is nice in the morning. I’ve been doing hair care here for quite some time now. People from Paldi know me, and they stop by when they need something done. It’s not a fancy boutique, just a place where I work. I have my combs, my scissors, and some bottles of oil and shampoo. Sometimes the air conditioner is a bit loud, but it keeps the heat away during the Ahmedabad summers. I usually keep a radio playing some old songs in the background. It’s a bit of a climb for some, but once they are inside, it’s a calm place away from the road. I stay here until late, watching the lights of the petrol pump across the street until it’s time to lock up the shutters and go home for the day. It’s just how my life goes.
