Bansari Hair Salon

So, this is Bansari Hair Salon. We are right in Shop G-8 inside Nandanvan Complex. If you know where Jalaram Parotha House is, we are basically right beside it. People often stop by after having food there or when they are passing through Subhash Bridge. It is a simple place. I have been here a long time now. The Rto Circle is quite close so there is always some traffic noise outside. Inside it is just chairs and mirrors and the sound of scissors. We do haircuts for the local guys and kids from the neighborhood. Some people have been coming since they were small. It is not fancy or anything like that. Just a regular shop where you can sit and talk while getting your hair done. Ahmedabad gets really hot in the summer so the fan is always running. Sometimes we run out of towels and have to wait for the laundry to come back. It happens. We try to keep things moving as best we can. Most days are busy in the evening when everyone gets off work. On Sundays, it's a bit of a crowd because everyone wants to look decent for the coming week. We handle it one person at a time. Nothing too complicated here. Just a small hair salon in a busy corner of the city. We have a little water cooler in the corner for when it gets dusty. It’s just us doing what we know how to do.
