Bahrat Hair Art

Bahrat Hair Art is a small shop located in the Amraiwadi area, right near Jantanagar. It’s a very local part of Ahmedabad and we’ve been part of this community for a long time. The shop itself is quite simple. We don't have a lot of the fancy equipment that the big salons in the city have. We mostly just use our scissors, combs, and razors to do the work. It’s a traditional hair shop where we focus on haircuts and basic grooming for the people living around here. The street outside in Amraiwadi is always full of energy, with people walking by and street vendors everywhere. We open up the shop every morning and stay open until late. It’s usually just one or two of us working here. We know almost everyone who walks through the door because they’ve been coming to us for years. We’ve seen their kids grow up and now those kids bring their own children here. It’s not a fancy business, just an honest way to make a living. We keep a few chairs for people to sit in while they wait their turn. The mirrors are old but they work fine. We try to keep the place as clean as possible, even though the street outside is dusty. It’s just a regular neighborhood barber shop where you can get a simple cut and have a chat. We are happy being a small part of this area.
