Ayna Beauty Parlour

Our place is up on the fifth floor of Mangalya Tower, specifically B 504. It is near the Anjali Cross Road in Paldi. Being in a tower means we see a lot of people coming and going from their flats. Sometimes the lift is slow so people take the stairs, though the fifth floor is a bit of a climb. It is usually quieter up here than it is down on the street level. We have windows that look out towards the road. When it rains, you can see the water pooling near the crossing. The room is not very large, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. There are a few chairs and a small area for people to sit while they wait their turn. We keep the towels folded on the racks and the combs in the drawers. Ahmedabad can get very dusty, so we are always wiping down the surfaces. It is a residential area mostly, so we know a lot of the people who live in the building. Sometimes they just pop in to say hello or ask a question. We started here because it was a convenient spot for the neighborhood. The morning sun comes in through the window for a bit before it gets too hot. We have a small clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly when it is quiet. It is just a normal everyday workspace where we spend our hours.
