A.V.V. High School

A.V.V. High School is part of the Om Shanti School Campus, located right near the Ctm Cross Road. Being on a larger campus means we share the space with other sections, so there are always people moving around the grounds. This part of Ctm is quite a hub, so it’s easy for the older students to get here by bus or on their own cycles. The high school section has its own set of rooms. They are plain classrooms with high ceilings and big fans that hum all day long. We don't go in for much decoration. The walls have the usual charts and a few notices pinned up. The desks are lined up in straight rows, and there is a lot of writing happening on the boards. High schoolers are a bit different; they are starting to think about what comes next, so the atmosphere is a bit more serious than the primary schools. We have a yard where the kids hang out during their breaks, usually playing a bit of cricket or just sitting in the shade. The campus has a few trees which help keep things a bit cooler during the afternoon. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big PR department. We are just a group of teachers and staff making sure the school runs smoothly every day. It’s a busy, practical place that has been serving this part of Ahmedabad for a long time. Nothing fancy, just a solid place for finishing school.
