Asiatic Engineers

Asiatic Engineers is out in Vatva, at 80/4 in Phase 1 of the GIDC. If you haven't been to GIDC, it’s just a massive sea of factories and workshops. Our unit is one of the many there. It’s a very industrial setting—lots of concrete, high ceilings, and the constant sound of heavy machinery from nearby. We’ve been here for quite a while. The place isn’t much to look at from the outside. It’s just a standard industrial unit with a big heavy door. Inside, we have our engineering setup. It’s not climate-controlled, so it gets very hot in the summer months, and we just have a few big fans to keep the air moving. We don’t have a marketing team or a sales department. We just do the engineering work that is required. Most of our day is spent on the shop floor, and the "office" is really just a desk with a computer and a lot of dust. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous company in Gujarat. We just want to do a decent job on the projects we take on. The traffic in and out of Vatva can be a nightmare with all the trailers, but we’re used to it. We show up, we do our hours, and we make sure the parts we are working on are done. It’s a simple, hardworking life in a very industrial part of town.
