Ashwin Engineering

We are based out of the Manu Panchal Industrial Estate in Amraiwadi. Specifically, we’re at unit number 2. It’s near Indira Nagar and not too far from the Torrent Tower, which is a big landmark around here. The estate is a bit gritty, with a lot of workshops and heavy noise throughout the day. It’s the kind of place where you don’t mind getting your hands dirty. Ashwin Engineering has been in this spot for a long time. We have our machines set up and they’ve been running for years. It’s hot in the summer, especially with all the metal around, but we have big fans to keep the air moving as much as possible. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep it. It’s just the nature of the work. We aren't here to look pretty; we're here to build and fix things. Most of the guys have been with us for years, so we all know how the others work without having to say much. We get our supplies from local vendors and try to keep things moving as fast as the orders come in. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we just have to deal with it and fix it. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk right into the middle of the work. That’s how we like it.
