Our shop is number 27 in Maruti Tower, right at the Shivranjani Cross Road. It’s a very busy intersection in the Satellite area. You can see the Shivranjani BRTS station right across from us. It’s handy because people can just jump off the bus and come straight in. The noise from the traffic is constant, you get used to the horns after a while. We have been here for a good amount of time. The shop is small and practical. We have some older chairs that are still very comfortable. Sometimes the door sticks a bit when it rains, so you have to give it a good push. We don't really go for that high-end look. It’s more of a place where you can just sit down and talk while we work. We see a lot of students and office workers who are in a hurry to get back to their day. We try to keep things moving along so nobody is waiting too long out in the heat. There’s usually a pot of tea going in the back if someone wants a cup. We don't have any big mission or anything, we just show up and do the hair work. It’s honest labor and it keeps us busy. That’s really all there is to it. We don't need much more than our tools and a steady stream of people coming through the door.
