You will find our shop at 1895/3 in the Khadia area. We are near Mota Sutharvada and right on Bala Hanuman Road. This is one of the older parts of Ahmedabad, so it’s always crowded and busy. We have been cutting hair here for a very long time. It’s a traditional barbershop for men. We have the big old-fashioned chairs that people like. The shop isn't very big, but we have enough space for three people to get their hair done at once. We don't do anything very modern or fancy. Most men just come in for a regular trim or a shave with a straight razor. We use simple soap and water. The walls have some old photos on them and the floor is just plain tile. It gets very hot in the summer, but we have two big fans that stay on all day. We know almost everyone who walks past the door. Some of our customers have been coming here since they were children and now they bring their own kids. It’s a noisy street with all the shops and the temple nearby, but that’s just how Khadia is. We don't take appointments or anything like that. You just come in, sit on the bench, and wait for your turn. We keep the mirrors clean and the scissors sharp. It’s an honest way to make a living and we’ve been doing it at this spot for decades.
