Ar. Bhagirath Desai

I am Bhagirath Desai and I run my architecture practice from the Shyamak Building. We are located right behind the Kamdhenu Complex in Ambavadi. It’s a nice, established part of the city and I’ve been working from this office for quite many years. The space is usually quite cluttered with rolls of drawings, architectural models, and various samples of materials. It isn't a huge office, but it's where all the planning happens. I have a small team helping me out. We mostly focus on residential and some small commercial buildings. We don't really do the corporate thing with big presentations and shiny brochures. I prefer to just sit down with people and talk about what they want to build. Most of our clients are people from the neighborhood or friends of people we have worked for in the past. The Kamdhenu Complex is the best way to find us because the Shyamak Building is a bit hidden behind it. Ambavadi is a great location because it’s central and clients find it convenient to visit. We spend a lot of time on site making sure things are being built the way we drew them. It’s a lot of work and sometimes it gets frustrating, but it’s what we do. We just try to make buildings that work for the people who live in them. It's a slow process but we like it that way.
