Architect Kanika Gupta

You can find the office of Architect Kanika Gupta right on Drive In Road. It is a busy part of the city, and there is always a lot of movement outside our windows. The space inside is mostly filled with rolls of paper, pens, and a couple of computers that are usually running some heavy software. We don’t have a big fancy waiting room with expensive chairs because we’d rather use that space for our drawing tables. It’s a bit cluttered sometimes, but that is just how we work best. Kanika is usually hunched over a plan or talking to someone on the site. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do here. We just take an idea and try to make it work on paper first, then on the ground. Drive In Road has plenty of places to grab a quick snack, so we often end up eating at our desks while we finish up a project. It is a straightforward setup. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write polished speeches for us. This is just a place where someone can come in, sit down, and talk about what they want to build. We listen, we draw, and we try to get the dimensions right. It’s been our home for a while and we’ve grown to like the energy of this specific street.
