A.P. Tribal Welfare Residential School

A.P. Tribal Welfare Residential School is located in Azad Nagar, right near the Ctm Cross Road. This area of Amraiwadi is always full of life, with people moving toward the highway or the local markets. Because we are a residential school, the building is busy nearly all the time, not just during school hours. It’s a plain, functional building designed to house and teach at the same time. The rooms are divided into sleeping areas and study areas. It’s not a luxury setup by any means. Everything is very basic—metal beds, simple wooden tables, and plenty of space for books. The kitchen starts early in the morning because there are a lot of mouths to feed. You can smell the tea and breakfast from the hallway. We have a courtyard where the students gather for their morning assembly or just to sit outside when the weather is decent. The walls are thick, which helps keep the noise of the Ctm traffic down a little bit. Living and studying in the same place creates a specific kind of atmosphere. It’s like a very large family house where there is always something going on. We don’t have fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need for day-to-day living and learning. It’s a practical environment where the focus is on providing a stable place for the students to stay and finish their education.
