Our shop is number 37 in Mohan Nagar Part 1, right on the 132 Feet Ring Road in Naranpura. Being on the Ring Road means there is a lot of heavy traffic and noise all day long. We are right opposite Shree Hari Park and very close to Raj Tyres. You can often hear the sound of tools from the tire shop or the engines of the trucks passing by. Our shop is a small unit in the row of buildings. We have the basic things you would expect, like a few sturdy chairs and some cabinets for our tools. The walls have some old pictures on them and the mirrors are large enough for everyone to see. Naranpura is a place where people are always on the move. We get a lot of dust from the main road, so cleaning is a big part of our daily routine. We have a small sink at the back and a place to hang our bags and coats. The floor is concrete and we have put some mats down. Sometimes we sit on the stools near the door when there is no work to do. We watch the bikes go by on the Ring Road. It is a busy life but we like being in the middle of it all. The sun sets right behind the park across the street, which is the best part of the evening. It is a normal shop.
