Puran Engineering

Our workshop is at A/5 in the Bhagirath Industrial Estate Part-2. It’s a standard industrial unit where we do various engineering tasks. You’ll hear the sound of metal being worked on as soon as you get close to our door. Puran Engineering is a small outfit. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. Most of us are just out there on the floor with the tools and the metal. We deal with a lot of metal scraps and heavy machinery. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains, like any real shop where work gets done. We spend our time fixing parts or making new ones based on the sketches people bring in. It’s not always pretty work, but it’s necessary for our customers. The industrial estate can be a bit chaotic with everyone trying to move their goods, but we stay focused on our own unit A/5. We don’t have a website with big promises or a fancy logo. Most of our work comes from people who just know we are here. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones, and we take good care of them. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a short break for tea then. We’ve been here long enough to know the rhythms of the place. It’s just us, some steel, and the work that needs to get done before the day ends and we lock up the shutters.
