Our place is out in Phase II of the G.I.D.C. in Vatva, specifically Plot No. 1. If you know the industrial area, you know it’s a lot of manufacturing and heavy work. There is always the sound of metal and machines in the background here. We make pharma machines, so our shop floor is usually covered in tools and parts. It's a dusty environment, but that's just how an industrial estate is. We aren't wearing suits or sitting in air-conditioned cubicles all day. Most of us are on our feet, checking on the assembly or talking to the technicians. The roads around Vatva can be pretty rough, especially after it rains. We’ve been at this plot for a long time. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We have a small office section for the paperwork, but the real work happens in the back. There’s a lot of grease and hard work involved in getting these machines ready. We usually have tea together in the late afternoon. It's a tight-knit group of people. We don't have any fancy brochures about our philosophy. We just build the machines and send them out. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The gate is usually open during the day for deliveries. It's just a typical day in the G.I.D.C. for us. It can get loud, but we are used to the noise by now.
