Amar Hair Making Shop

Amar Hair Making Shop is located in the Sarathi Avenue Complex. We are in units 4 and 5. If you are near the Ramdev Nagar area, you will find us right across from Revati Tower. It is a good spot in Ahmedabad to have a business. We have been in this complex for some time now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon, but the scissors are sharp and that is what really matters for the job. We handle all kinds of hair here. It gets quite noisy during the day because of the traffic outside on the main road. I usually have a pot of tea going in the back room for the staff. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of big ceiling fans that keep the air moving around. Some days the floor gets covered in hair faster than I can sweep it up with the old broom. We get a lot of young guys from the nearby apartments. They usually want whatever style is popular on the television. I try my best to match the pictures they show me on their phones. Sometimes the sink in the back leaks a little bit, so we keep a plastic bucket under it. It’s just how it is in an old building. We aren't trying to be a big fancy salon. We just want to give people a decent haircut so they look okay for their families. The neighbors in the other shops are friendly.
