A.L.N Matriculation School

A.L.N Matriculation School sits over in New India Colony. The main Nikol Naroda Road is just right there, so there is always a lot of movement around us. It is one of those schools that has been around the Nikol area for a while now, becoming part of the background of the neighborhood. The building is a standard concrete structure, nothing that would make you stop and stare, but it does the job. Inside, the corridors are usually filled with the sound of kids reciting things or the occasional bell ringing. We have the usual setup—benches that have seen better days, blackboards that need a good wipe, and windows that let in the Ahmedabad breeze when it isn't too dusty outside. The staff members are mostly people who live nearby, so they understand the local rhythm. We don’t have much in the way of high-tech gadgets; it is more about the books and the writing. During the break, the small open area gets quite loud with everyone running around for a few minutes before the next period starts. It can be a bit chaotic during the rainy season when the road gets muddy, but we all just deal with it. It’s a no-frills kind of place where the focus is just on the daily schoolwork. We like that it’s straightforward and honest.
