Alishan Hair Art

Alishan Hair Art is located at Shop No. 1 on India Colony Road. We are in the India Colony area, specifically below the Greenvilla Flat and right opposite Pratik E. It is a lively neighborhood here in Ahmedabad. Our shop has been around for a while and we have become part of the daily life on this street. The shop is on the ground floor so it's easy for anyone to just walk in. We don't have a polished corporate look. It's just a regular hair art shop with the tools of the trade laid out on the counters. We have some old chairs that are still very comfortable for the customers. Most days start with the sound of the shutters going up. We get to work right away. People come in from the flats nearby or from the other shops down the street. We talk about everything from the local cricket scores to the price of vegetables at the market. It is a social place in its own way. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just show up and do the work that needs to be done. The dust from the road sometimes finds its way inside, so we are always dusting things off and keeping it tidy. It is a simple business run by people who live nearby. We enjoy being a part of India Colony and seeing our neighbors every single day.
