Alis Hair Art

Alis Hair Art is located near the Mahakali Mandir on Mahakali Road in Shahibaug. We are right opposite Precision Bakery, so you can often smell the fresh bread and biscuits while we are working. It is a busy little street. The temple brings a lot of people by every day, especially on certain mornings. Our shop isn't very big, but we have enough space for the chairs and the mirrors. We have been here for a good while now, seeing the neighborhood change. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for their hair needs for a long time. We do haircuts and shaves, nothing too complicated. It’s a simple place with a tiled floor and some cupboards for our tools. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the job well. Shahibaug is a nice area to work in, even if it gets a bit noisy with the scooters and the temple bells. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s quiet and just watch the people go by to the bakery. It’s a modest business and we like it that way. We just focus on giving a clean cut and having a bit of a talk with whoever is in the chair.
