You can find us at 10 Ranchhod Park Society. We are tucked away near Azad Society in the Ambavadi area of Ahmedabad. Our spot is right on the way to Himmatlal Park, so we see people walking their dogs or going for their morning walks quite often. Being inside a society makes it feel a bit more like a home than a shop. There are trees around and it is generally more peaceful than the main market roads. We have been at this address for a long time. The building is just a regular house-style structure where we have set up our equipment. There is a small gate at the front and a bit of space where people can park their scooters. Inside, the walls are painted a simple color and we have our mirrors fixed in place. We spend a lot of time cleaning the combs and making sure the towels are dry. Sometimes the local kids play cricket in the lane outside and we can hear the ball hitting the ground. It is a very local vibe here. We know the neighbors and the people who walk by every day. The afternoon sun hits the front porch, so we usually keep the door closed during the peak heat. It is just a small, honest place where we do our daily work and chat with whoever comes through the door. The fan makes a humming sound while we work.
