Alankar Hair Style

Alankar Hair Style is in the Maruti Complex in Maninagar. We are in shop number two. Jawahar Chowk is just a short walk away. Milan Park Society is right across from us. This is an old-fashioned barber shop. We don't have the fancy stuff you see in malls. We have the classic chairs and big mirrors. Most of our customers are men from the neighborhood. Some have been coming here for twenty years. They brought their sons, and now those sons bring their kids. It’s a nice cycle to see. We do hair cuts and shaves. We use a straight razor for shaves. It’s the old way. The shop is small but we keep it tidy. Maruti Complex is a busy little place. There is always noise from the street. We don't mind it. It sounds like the city. We don't have a team of stylists. Just a few of us who know how to cut hair well. We don't charge much. We just want to make a living. The shop has a lot of history for us. We don't need fancy decorations or music. Just a good pair of scissors and a steady hand. We open early every morning. The old men like to come before the sun gets too hot. We’ll be here as long as the neighborhood needs us. It is a simple shop for a simple haircut. Nothing more, nothing less than that.
