Agrawal Departmental Store

This is Agrawal Departmental Store. We are located at Ff/32 in Rudra Squre, right near the Gormoh Hotel in Bodakdev. Ahmedabad is getting bigger every day, and our area is quite busy now. The store is on the first floor, so people have to come up the stairs, but they still come for their things. We have been here for a few years now. It is a decent-sized place for a departmental store. We keep a lot of things, from kitchen items to personal care stuff and snacks. I usually spend my time restocking the shelves because things sell out pretty fast. My nephew helps me with the billing on most days when it gets crowded. We have a lot of families from the nearby apartments who come here for their monthly groceries. It is not as quiet as a small village shop, but it is not a giant supermarket either. We have some air conditioning, but it struggles when the door is kept open too long during the summer. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it swept, though people bring in plenty of dust from the street. Sometimes we get very busy and there is a line at the counter. I try to move fast, but I’m not as young as I used to be. We just want to make sure people in Bodakdev can find their daily essentials without much trouble. It is a steady job and we like being here.
