Adarsh Bhartiya Public School

Our school is at number 27, right across from the Hansol Police Chowky. We’re close to the Tandoor Palace and the Talawdi Circle on Airport Road, so there’s always something happening nearby. Being in Sardar Nagar means we are right in the thick of things. You can hear the planes sometimes, and the traffic on the way to the airport is pretty constant. The school building is a familiar sight for people living around here. It’s got a few floors and we use every bit of the space we have. We’ve got the usual setup for a public school. The benches are old-fashioned and the classrooms have high ceilings to help with the Ahmedabad heat. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations; we just keep the place functional for the students. Most of the families who send their children here have been in the neighborhood for generations. We’ve seen a lot of kids grow up and then bring their own children back to us. It’s a bit of a tight-knit community in that way. We have our fair share of busy days and quiet ones, but mostly it’s just the sound of kids reciting lessons and playing in the courtyard. It’s a very normal, local school experience for everyone involved. We open the doors early and stay until the last student is picked up by their parents or the rickshaw driver at the end of the day.
