Active Farm School

We are out on IOC Road in the Jundal New Chandkheda area of Ahmedabad. It is a bit of a different kind of school because we focus a lot on being outside and learning about the land. Instead of just sitting in a room all day, we like to get out where things are actually growing. The school is in a spot that still feels a bit more open than the middle of the city. We have some outdoor spaces where the kids can see how plants work and get their hands a little dirty. It is not always perfectly tidy here, especially if it has been raining or if we are in the middle of a project. We think it is important for children to know where their food comes from and how to take care of the earth. The staff here are mostly people who just love being outdoors and don't mind a bit of hard work. We have a few simple buildings for when the weather is too hot or if we need to do some indoor lessons. It is a very relaxed environment and we don't worry too much about having the newest equipment. As long as we have seeds, soil, and some space to move around, we are happy. It is a practical, down-to-earth place for families who want something a bit different for their children in this busy city.
