Acmen Montessori School

If you walk through Purshottam Park in Chandkheda, you will find our school tucked away there. It is not a huge place, but it works for what we do with the kids every day. We started this because we wanted something local in Ahmedabad where children could just spend their time learning things at their own speed. The rooms are filled with all the usual Montessori materials, mostly wooden toys and stuff for them to practice with their hands. It can get pretty noisy in the mornings when parents are dropping their little ones off at the gate. We have a few teachers who live nearby and they treat the place like their own home, honestly. Sometimes the kids make a mess with the paints or the sand, but that is just part of how things go here. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the floor is clean and the kids are busy with something useful. It feels like a neighborhood spot because it is. You see the same faces every day and we know most of the families around here by name. It is a simple setup but it has been working for us for quite some time now. We just like seeing the children get a bit more confident each week they come in to spend time with us. It is just a regular school doing regular things.
