Abhyudaya Public School

We are located right at the Haridarshan Cross Road in Naroda. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving about outside the gate. Being at such a central spot makes it easy for the buses to get here, though the noise can be a lot. The school building is pretty standard for this part of Ahmedabad. We have a lot of students coming from the surrounding apartment blocks and houses. It’s a public school, so things are kept very straightforward and basic. We don’t have fancy uniforms or expensive equipment in the rooms. There are rows of wooden benches and plenty of windows to let the air in. During the break, the sound of kids shouting and playing fills up the whole street. I usually stand by the gate to watch the traffic when the kids are leaving at the end of the day. It can be a bit chaotic with all the rickshaws lined up. We’ve been here for a good while, so the shopkeepers across the road know us well. Sometimes we have a bit of a power cut and the fans stop, but everyone just keeps working through it. It’s not a perfect place, but it serves the families in the area. We don’t try to be something we are not. It’s just a school where children come to get their lessons done and pass their exams.
