Abhyasa Residential Public School

Living and working at a school is very different than just visiting one. We are out on National Highway No 8, near Nana Chiloda. Specifically at Plot No 105/A in Limbadia. Being on the highway means we hear the trucks and cars going by at night, but once you are inside the gates, it stays pretty calm. Since it is a residential school, the kids are here all the time, day and night. It’s like a small village inside the walls. We have the dorms and the mess hall where everyone eats their meals together. I’ve seen kids grow up here from being quite small to being young adults ready to leave. The grounds are often dusty because of the local soil, but we have some trees that provide a bit of shade. It isn’t a luxury resort or anything like that. It’s a place for study and living. The mornings start early with everyone getting ready at the same time. There’s always someone practicing sports on the field or just hanging out in the common areas after class. We deal with the usual problems like leaky taps or a light bulb going out in the hallway. It’s just a practical place for students who aren't from the city or who need to stay on campus for their studies. You get used to the routine of it all after a few weeks. It feels very grounded and basic. We just focus on the syllabus and making sure everyone is fed.
