Abacus Montessori School

This school is located on the Gota Vadsar Road in the Ognaj area of Ahmedabad. It’s a bit away from the main city noise, which is nice for the kids. The building sits on a dusty road that gets busy during drop-off and pick-up times. Inside, we have rooms filled with those specific Montessori materials that children use to learn. There are small chairs and low shelves so the little ones can reach everything themselves. You won’t find many big desks for teachers because they are usually down on the floor with the kids. The backyard has some space for them to run around when it isn't too hot outside. It feels like a big house in some ways rather than a strict institution. We have a lot of wooden toys and puzzles scattered around the classrooms. The windows stay open most of the time to let the air in, though the dust from the road sometimes comes in too. People around here know us as the local spot for the younger children. It is a simple setup without much fuss. We try to keep things organized, but with thirty or forty kids running around, there is always a bit of a mess somewhere. The staff mostly just gets on with the day, making sure everyone is safe and busy. It’s a plain, honest place where childhood happens every day without any big corporate overhead or fancy stuff.
