Aashirwaad High School

You can find us at number 22 in the Maruti Nandan Society in Bopal. Being inside a housing society makes our school feel very much like part of the neighborhood. We have been here in Ahmedabad for a long time, and many of the kids who come here live just a few houses away. The school building is part of the residential landscape, so it’s not a giant concrete block. We have multiple classrooms and a small area where students gather for their morning assembly or to play. It’s a high school, so things can get a bit loud during the change of periods or at lunch. We don't have a big fancy track or a huge auditorium. We use the space we have for lessons and the occasional small event. The teachers here are mostly local people who have been with us for years. We know the parents and we know the kids. It’s a simple, honest way to run a school. Sometimes we have to deal with the usual problems like a leaky pipe or a broken desk, but we just fix it and keep going. We don't spend money on big advertisements. People in Bopal know us through word of mouth. It’s just a regular place for students to get through their high school years and prepare for what comes next. We like being part of the society here.
