Aaradhya Public School

Located at 48 Gulzar Park, right near the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway, Aaradhya Public School is a place that many people in Ahmedabad pass by every day. The school building sits in a busy part of the city, so there is always a bit of dust and the sound of horns from the highway. We have students of different ages coming in early in the morning, all wearing their uniforms which never stay clean for very long. The playground isn't massive, but there's enough room for a quick game of cricket or football during the breaks. Inside, the classrooms have rows of wooden benches and blackboards that are dusty with chalk. We spend a lot of time on basic lessons and making sure the kids follow the rules. It can get pretty loud during the lunch break when everyone is running around the hallways. The teachers have a small room where they sit to check notebooks and drink tea during their free periods. It’s a very normal school with its own share of broken windows and squeaky doors that need fixing. We don't have anything flashy here, just the standard desks and chairs you find in any local school. People from the surrounding neighborhood bring their kids here because it's convenient and close to home. Every year, we watch the kids grow up a bit more before they move on to the next grade. It's not perfect, but it's ours.
