Aalam Montessori School

If you come to the 4th floor of Zodiac Square on Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway, you will find Aalam Montessori School. We are in suite 407. It is a busy spot in Bodakdev. We follow the Montessori way here, which means the kids have different materials they work with. The rooms are filled with shelves and small mats on the floor. It is a bit different from a regular school setup. I spend my days making sure the kids are using the equipment correctly and not making too much of a mess. Being on the highway means we have to keep the windows shut sometimes because of the noise from the trucks and cars. It is quite a central location for families living in this part of Ahmedabad. We don't have big flashy signs, just our name on the door and the directory downstairs. The space is practical for what we do. We have some plants in the corners to make it look a bit better. Most days are just about the kids choosing their work and the teachers helping them out when they get stuck. It is a simple operation and we have been in this building for a while now. Parents like that they can drop off their kids on their way to work since the highway is so close. We just keep doing our thing every day without any fuss.
