Aakash Public Middle School

Aakash Public Middle School is actually located inside a commercial building called the New Satadhar Complex. We are specifically at Shop No 19. It might seem a bit unusual to have a middle school in a shopping complex in Bhuyangdev, but it is actually quite common around this part of Ahmedabad. We are in the 380052 area, which is full of markets and small businesses. Our space isn't very big, so we have to be smart about how we use the rooms. It’s a very functional setup. We don't have a garden or a playground, so the students usually hang out in the corridors or head home right after the final bell. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the sign outside is a little faded from the sun. But the desks are sturdy and the teachers are here every single day. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. We just focus on the middle school curriculum and making sure the kids understand their lessons. Most of the families who use the school are the shop owners and residents from the nearby blocks. It’s a very local, down-to-earth kind of place. We don't have any big speeches or brochures to give out, just a place for kids to learn and get through their school years.
