A V P Trust Public School

We are tucked away right by Haridarshan Cross Road in the Nikol area. If you know the Naroda Road stretch, you know it stays pretty busy most of the day. A V P Trust Public School isn't a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a sturdy building where we show up every morning before the sun gets too hot. The kids come in from the nearby streets, mostly walking or on cycles. You can hear the chatter starting around 7:30. We’ve got the usual classrooms with wooden desks and green boards. Some of the desks have scratches from years of use, but they still work fine. The teachers here are just local folks who know the families around Nikol. We don't spend much time on big speeches. Usually, it's just about getting through the lessons and making sure everyone has their books. In the afternoons, the heat settles over the playground, and things get a bit quieter once the primary section heads home. It’s a simple setup. We deal with the typical stuff like leaky taps or a fan that clicks too loud, but we fix things as we go. It feels like a part of the neighborhood, nothing more and nothing less. Parents stop by the gate to chat with the watchman sometimes. It’s just how things are here in Ahmedabad.
