A One School (Memnagar)

Our school is located in the Memnagar area, right near Subhash Chowk. If you drive down Drive In Road, you can’t really miss the turn-off. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always a lot of movement outside our gates. The school itself is a local fixture. We’ve been here serving the families in Memnagar for quite some time. It is a standard school building with several floors and a lot of stairs. Every morning is a bit chaotic with the school vans and rickshaws trying to park near the chowk. We don’t have a massive campus with stadiums, just a regular playground and classrooms where the students spend their hours. The walls have some charts pinned up, and the hallways are usually full of the sound of shuffling feet. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. It’s a place for education, plain and simple. We see the city changing around us, with new shops and cafes opening up on Drive In Road, but the school stays pretty much the same. The staff knows the local area well, and many of us live just a short distance away. It’s a practical setup. We focus on the books and the lessons. When the sun goes down and the kids leave, the place gets quiet, and you can finally hear the traffic from Subhash Chowk again. That is just the daily rhythm here at A One School in Memnagar.
