Our place is the farm house in Malsan village. If you know the Vav taluka in Banaskantha, you know it’s a place where you have to work hard for every bit of crop. Thirpur Farmer Producer Company Limited is based right here on the land. We aren’t interested in being a big city company. We are people who have spent our lives in these fields. The farm house is where we meet to discuss what we are going to do next. Malsan is a small village, and word travels fast here. We focus on getting things done rather than talking big. Some days we are out in the sun all day, and other days we are sitting inside trying to make sense of the new rules and paperwork. Being a farmer producer company means we have a lot of neighbors involved. It’s not always easy to get everyone on the same page, but we manage. The dust in Vav gets everywhere, and our office isn’t exactly a showroom, but it’s where the real work happens. We handle our own stuff, from seeds to selling. We don’t have any polished speeches. We just want to make sure the families here in Malsan can keep farming for years to come. It’s a quiet life, mostly, until it’s time to move the produce. That’s when the farm house gets really busy with tractors and people.
