Contra Farms Llp is located at 18 Sakan Twins, which is right near the Management Enclave and across from the Satellite Centre in Vastrapur. It is a bit of a fancy-sounding area, but our office is very down to earth. We are on the ground floor mostly, dealing with the logistics of bringing farm products to the city. Vastrapur is always busy with students and office workers, so it is a lively place to be. We have a small team here that spends the day on the phone or looking at maps. It is not all glamorous; we have plenty of days where things go wrong with the transport or the weather. We try to stay practical and solve problems as they come up. The Sakan Twins building is easy to find, and we have a few plants outside to remind us of the work we do. We are not here to talk big or make empty promises. We just want to connect the farms with the people who need their produce. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is coming in or when the paperwork starts piling up. It is a good mix of city life and rural business. We like being near the Satellite Centre because it makes us feel like we are at the center of things. People pop in to ask about our projects and we just tell them how it is. No fluff, just real talk about farming.
