Champavadi Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of the office at 170, Someshwara Park. If you know Thaltej, you probably know the area. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just trying to manage the business side of the farms. It gets pretty busy during harvest time, and that’s when the office feels really small. We started this because doing things alone wasn't working out as well as it used to. Most of the time, someone is here answering the phone or trying to figure out transport for the crops. It's a lot of practical stuff, like checking bags and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. Sometimes the ledger is a mess and we have to sit late to fix it. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. It’s just us. The desk is usually covered in receipts and half-empty water bottles. We talk about the soil and the seeds more than anything else. Someshwara Park is a decent place to work from, even if parking is a bit of a headache sometimes. We just want to make sure the farmers involved get what they need. It isn't always smooth, and we make mistakes, but we're learning as we go. It feels good to have a place where we can all meet up and figure things out together.
