We started this thing because a few of us in the area realized it was harder to do everything alone. Raniamba Farmers Producer Company Limited is mostly just a bunch of local guys trying to figure out the best way to get our crops moved and sold without losing too much money in the process. We are based over at 170, Someshwara Park in Thaltej. It’s not a big fancy place, just where we keep the books and meet up when there’s something important to talk about. Most days we are out in the fields or checking on the transport stuff. Farming is a lot of work and sometimes the rain doesn’t come when you want it to, so having this group helps us stay sane. We don't have a big team of office people. It’s usually just a couple of us handling the paperwork while everyone else is busy with the actual farming side. Thaltej has changed a lot over the years with all the new buildings coming up, but we’re still here doing what we know. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a machine breaks down or a load is late, we just deal with it. That’s how it goes when you’re working with the land. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to make sure the farmers get a fair shake and the work gets done right at the end of the day.
