We set up at the Char Rasta so it would be easy for any farmer coming into town to find us. It’s a practical location for a practical company. We don't have any interest in sounding like a big city firm. We are just people from the Mandvi area who want to make sure our agricultural community stays strong. At the shop, we handle all the paperwork and talk to the members about what they need for the upcoming season. Whether it is seeds or just advice on how to handle a specific pest, we try to help out. The noise from the crossroads is always there, but we have gotten used to it. We spend our days dealing with the realities of farming in Kachchh, which isn't always pretty. It involves a lot of sweat and a lot of patience. We just wanted a central spot where we could all come together and share the load. It is a simple setup, but it works for the people who live and work around here. We just take it day by day.
