Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our little setup is called Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Farmer Producer Company Limited. We operate out of Ganeshgadh, and we are based at Hasmukhbhai Madhavjibhai Moradiya’s place. Ganeshgadh is one of those places where everyone is involved in agriculture in some way or another. We named the company after Pandit Dindayal because we liked the idea of working for the common person on the ground. Hasmukhbhai is the one who keeps everything together at his premises. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a room where we can store some papers and talk to the farmers who come by. We spend most of our time discussing things like crop cycles and what the government is doing this year. It is a very quiet life here in Ganeshgadh, but the work never really stops. When the sowing season starts, we are all over the place trying to make sure everyone has what they need. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just speak plain English and talk about the things that matter, like the quality of the soil and getting a decent price for the harvest. It is a humble operation, run by people who live right here in the village and understand the local struggle. We just take things as they come and try to help our local farming community as best as we can.
