Farmsow Private Limited

Farmsow Private Limited is over at Balaji Apartment in Memnagar. We are at number 5, which is near the Marine Drive Apartment and Sterling Park. If you know Ahmedabad, you know Memnagar is a pretty established place. It’s weird sometimes being in an apartment building and talking about farming all day, but that’s how we do it. We don't have a large warehouse right here; this is more of our main hub where we manage the business side of things. There’s a lot of back-and-forth on the phone with suppliers and farmers. Our office is a bit cramped with files and maybe a few samples of seeds or whatever else we are working with at the time. We aren't big on meetings or fancy presentations. Most of our decisions are made over a quick cup of tea in the kitchen area. The neighborhood is usually quiet, which is nice when we have to focus on the numbers. We started Farmsow because we had some ideas about how to get better supplies to people who grow things, and it just grew from there. It’s not always easy, especially when the market prices for crops go up and down like a roller coaster. We just try to keep a level head and stay on top of our emails and calls. It’s a basic office life, but it’s tied to the land in its own way. We're just regular people trying to run a business and pay the bills.
