Dhat Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at number 170 in Someshwara Park, which is in the Thaltej area. Thaltej has changed a lot over the years, becoming much more crowded and busy than it used to be. Our office is in a residential-style building, so it feels more like a house than a corporate workspace. We have a small sign out front so people can find us among all the other houses in the park. Inside, it is quite cozy. We use one of the main rooms for our meetings and another for keeping our files and computer. It’s a lot quieter here than being in a market yard, which is nice when we need to concentrate on the numbers. We usually have a pot of tea going, and anyone who comes by is welcome to a cup while we talk. The neighborhood is nice with a few trees along the street, though the traffic on the main road nearby is always loud. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been together since the start. We handle everything ourselves, from answering the phone to cleaning the floors at the end of the week. There’s no fancy marketing department or anything like that here. We just focus on the farmers we represent and try to keep things organized. It’s a comfortable place to work, and we like being in a part of Ahmedabad that feels like a real community instead of just an industrial zone.
