Ambiya Farmers Producer Company Limited shares the space at 170 Someshwara Park in Thaltej. It might seem a bit crowded having another company here, but we make it work. We are all about helping the farmers from the Ambiya area get their goods to market. The house is always buzzing with activity. People are coming in to sign papers or just to ask about the current rates for their crops. We don't have a big corporate structure. We are just a group of people who know the land and the crops. Most of our meetings happen in the living room or out on the porch if the weather is nice. We spend a lot of time worrying about the monsoon and how it will affect the harvest. That's just part of being in this business. We don't use fancy jargon when we talk. We keep it simple. If something is going wrong, we say it. We handle everything from buying seeds in bulk to finding buyers for the final harvest. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things get lost in the shuffle, but we always find a way to fix it. Thaltej is a good base for us because we can get to the city markets quickly. We aren't trying to be famous. We just want to make sure the farmers in our group can keep their farms running for another year.
